Can I use this as a GitHub Actions self-hosted runner?

Yes. After launch, follow the GitHub Actions self-hosted runner documentation to register the instance as a runner. All required tooling is pre-installed.

Is the latest Terraform version installed?

The image is built with the latest stable Terraform version available at build time. Check the version with terraform --version. To upgrade after launch, follow the official Terraform upgrade instructions.

Can I use a different CI/CD tool instead of Jenkins?

Yes. Jenkins is included but not required. You can install GitLab Runner, Tekton, Drone, or any other CI tool alongside or instead of Jenkins.

Does this include kubectl or Helm?

No. kubectl and Helm are not included in the current image. They can be installed manually after launch. Future product variants may include Kubernetes tooling.

How do I update Ansible?

pip3 install --upgrade ansible
ansible --version

Can I use this with a private container registry?

Yes. Log in to any Docker-compatible registry with docker login after launch. For AWS ECR, use aws ecr get-login-password with the pre-installed AWS CLI.
