FAQ
Which EC2 instance types are supported?
NebulaImage Docker runs on any x86_64 EC2 instance type. t3.micro is suitable for testing. For production workloads, t3.medium or larger is recommended depending on your container resource needs.
Is Docker Swarm included?
Docker Engine is installed and can be initialized in Swarm mode manually with docker swarm init. The AMI does not pre-configure a Swarm cluster.
Can I use this with AWS ECS?
This AMI targets standalone EC2 deployments. For ECS workloads, AWS provides its own ECS-optimized AMIs which are better suited for that use case.
Can I build my own AMI from this?
Yes. You can launch an instance, make your changes, and create a new private AMI for your own use. Review the AWS Marketplace usage terms for the specific product before redistributing.
How is pricing handled?
Pricing is managed through AWS Marketplace. View current pricing on the product listing page. You are charged through your existing AWS billing.
What regions is this available in?
AMI availability by region is listed on the AWS Marketplace product page. If you need a specific region that is not listed, contact support.
Does NebulaImage provide support for my containers or applications?
NebulaImage supports the AMI itself — the OS configuration, Docker installation, and pre-installed components. Support for your own containers and applications is outside the scope of NebulaImage support.
